Shannon Sharpe, the NFL legend who used to co-host ESPN’s First Take with Stephen A. Smith, enjoyed a pretty successful and lucrative career until it all came to a standstill a few days ago. The NFL legend has been accused of sexually assaulting a young woman multiple times. The young woman who is using the pseudonym Jane Doe has sued Shannon Sharpe for a whopping $50 million. But now there is a new twist to the whole story.

Shannon Sharpe “declines” to watch the footage of him and Jane Doe in an intimate moment, which her lawyers claim to be “non consensual”

It seems like the NFL legend, Shannon Sharpe is in no mood to watch a video footage of him and the young woman having s*x.
As per TMZ Sports, Jane Doe’s lawyer, Tony Buzbee said, “The only reason you know about the existence of a video recording is that Mr. Sharpe specifically referenced it in his bulls*** statement. The contents of the video was shared during the mediation process with Sharpe’s attorneys.”
Tony Buzbee who has been involved in other high profile cases including of Sean “Diddy” Combs added, “Again, Sharpe and his team disclosed that, not us. Sharpe himself was offered on more than one occasion to view it himself. He declined. We've never made any claims or threats about it and won't do so."
As per Shannon Sharpe’s attorneys, the video in question was recorded by Jane Doe of a “consensual” act and was “edited” to make it non consensual. Shannon Sharpe’s lawyers had released a statement that read as, “We believe the video has been heavily edited and taken entirely out of context, crafted to falsely portray a consensual act as non-consensual.”

Shannon Sharpe remains unmarried but has three children

But this has not stopped fans from brutally trolling the NFL legend. While many believe that Shannon Sharpe has been falsely implicated in this sexual assault case, others have slammed him for getting with a woman who was much younger than his own childre.
While Shannon Sharpe never got married, he is a father to three children - two daughters named Kayla and Kale and a son named Kiari.
Shannon Sharpe has continued to have a pretty successful and lucrative career even after he retired from the NFL decades ago, in May 2004. However, he soon turned into a host and was recently seen regularly on ESPN’s First Take along with Stephen A. Smith.
But that’s not all; Shannon Sharpe has a highly successful podcast of his own, Club Shay Shay, which he has continued with even after getting involved in the sexual assault scandal with the young woman.
